Venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup which saw a fine European victory - another thrilling contest in one of the world's finest golfing resorts! Set amongst 330 acres of Kildare countryside, 45 minutes drive from Dublin City and 30 minutes drive from Dublin Airport. The K Club is Ireland`s only 5 Red Star graded by the Automobile Association At The K Club, each of the bedrooms and suites are individually appointed to the highest standard. There are no two rooms alike in terms of size and interior, making it one of the only resorts in Ireland that can boast this unique characteristic. Each room although unique in style possesses every luxury you would expect of a five star resort. And some you would not! There are two magnificent 18 hole championship golf courses, the Palmer Course, and the Smurfit Course. Both are designed by Arnold Palmer but each has its own characteristics and special set of challenges.
