As you leave the perimeter of the city, you come to find a place set amidst the Tuscan hills and Appennino mountains. Here is where the Resort with the original XVI Century Villa di Cignano will offer you an unforgettable experience. Modern luxury accommodation offered in the historic Poggio dei Medici estate. The rooms are to be found in five blocks or courts: The Vicari Court, overlooking the 4th green and the Cypress pathway The Middle and the Villa Courts, looking across the Villa di Cignano garden and courtyard The Tower Court, with the Torrino (small tower), one of the main features of Medicean architecture, and from our Torrino one can overlook much of the Golf Course. The Golf Court, located behind the 1st tee, this block offers an incredible view of the Cypress pathway and surrounding countryside; the two top rooms can be converted into a unique and outstanding suite, with 360 degrees view of the typical Tuscan landscape. Most rooms have fabulous views over the Golf Course and the Appennino Tosco Emiliano mountains, private gardens and balconies. All rooms are decorated in typical Tuscan style, with Terracotta tile floor, pottery and wooden ceiling, with satellite TV, telephone, minibar, in-room safe, air conditioning, and luxuriously appointed bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobes (electricity 220V). Direct access to the Golf Course, to combine a round of golf with relaxation and regeneration. With this addition, the Resort has significantly increased its facilities and services for its guests, to include outdoor swimming pools, with Jacuzzi, a Fitness Center with Steam Bath and Massage rooms, a Pro Shop and a Convention Center, accommodating groups up to 200 people. The new Club House building is the location for the Resort Reception, and a separate Reception for the Poggio dei Medici Golf Club and Golf Course, with a customs built Bag Drop Area and Storage.
