Roda Golf and Beach Resort is located in the Costa Calida’s Mar Menor, which is on Spain’s south east Mediterranean coast. With 300 days of sunshine a year it is the perfect location for a winter golf break. This has been endorsed by the PGA of Europe, who have set up their first golf academy outside the UK at Roda. There are 2 and 3 bedroom apartments to choose from all within walking distance of the Dave Thomas designed golf course which opened at the end of 2006. The facilities are as you would expect from luxury apartments, with all facilities required for a self catering stay. Add to that swimming pools, 24 hour security and easy access to both the beaches of Mar Menor and the main airport at San Javier (both 5 minutes) and it is clear to see why Roda Beach and Golf Resort is first choice for many. The standard 2 bedroom apartments have 1 double bed and 2 twins, and are suitable for 2, 3, or 4 sharing. The 3 bedroom apartments are have 1 double bed and 4 twins so suitable for 3, 4, 5 or 6 sharing. Prices will vary slightly but all will be exceedingly good value. There are penthouse apartments which are a little bit more but offer superior levels of accommodation, including a roof terrace. Some even have a Jacuzzi, but these are purely on a request basis. The Beach Club is now open and offers another dimension to the resort. Located on the La Manga peninsular a courtesy boat takes guests to Roda's private beach club on a regular basis. The De Vere managed golf complex has a stunning clubhouse there are plans to build a luxury hotel on site. “Hotel De Vere at Roda” will be completed to provide another dimension to this quality resort. With The Belfry being one of the most famous De Vere resorts, one can see why Roda promises to be a very exiting addition to the ever growing Murcia area.
