This long awaited resort hotel opened in August 2006, with 87 bedrooms in a boutique style format. It has a lot of quality and style and an art deco sort of feel to the finishings. The owners have been such perfectionists, that they re-designed it three times, frustrating, because it has taken at least 3 years to be constructed! However, the wait has been well worthwhile a hotel next to the clubhouse with 36 holes of mouth-watering golf of two complete contrasting styles! One 18 holes of links golf with man made dunes and lots of water and rolling terrain, with a second 18 in deep umbrella pines trees! Emporda is just 10 minutes drive from the beach at Pals or Estartit, so a beach style holiday can be combined with golf in the school summer holidays!
