The Ampalius is situated in a prominent position on the beach front, close to the Casino and only a short walk from the many bars and restaurants in Vilamoura. Golf is on hand with the Vilamoura and Vila Sol courses nearby and guests can also enjoy the benefit of the hotels courtesy shuttle.
The Vila Gale Group completed a major refurbishment of the hotel in February 2007 which included the addition of a Spa. The Ampalius has always been one of the most popular hotels in Vilamoura and this is sure to continue with the recent improvements. Sea view rooms come highly recommended at this hotel.
