The hotel's own course, San Lorenzo, is a 10 min drive away and in our opinion is the best on the Algarve, indeed it is ranked No 1 in Portugal by Golf Digest. If you want to play this course your only option is to stay at Dona Filipa, as it's impossible to book San Lorenzo in advance any other way.

The hotels facilities are fairly modest, however it does have a very pleasant outdoor pool which is heated throughout the winter. The hotel's bar and two restaurants are also very good - treat yourself to meal in the Grill restaurant. Above all this hotel has charm, which is complemented by it's experienced staff and is why so many distinguished and respected guest return year after year.

Classic Twin/Double

Junior Suite

Rooms are open plan with living area and open onto a balcony offering views of the Vale do Lobo golf course or ocean.

Atlantic Suite

Atlantic suites open onto a large balcony with spectacular views of the sea. Suites are modern in appearance with split level lounge area with comfortable furniture and extra facilities. Can be expensive but worth every penny.
